New Tools to Play

It was a hard choice for me for almost over 2 years since the Final Cut Pro X has released. I was searching for a 64bit NLE for my workflow which is for Documentaries and Corporate videos. I used Final Cut Pro 7 and Sound Track Pro with Motion and After Effects a lot but since Final Cut Pro 7 was not upgrading itself and Final Cut Pro X has very less similarity, it was obvious to move to a package that will offer almost everything. I tried Da Vinci Resolve 12 which is a great tool for editing and color correction but the price was not right for me to introduce into my editing system. Hit Film Pro on the other hand is also a great option but still the transition would have been difficult for me. Since I had used Premiere Pro earlier (back in 2004) I had some experience. But I was always doubtful about its rendering quality and handling capabilities. But adobe's channel gave a lot of info about handling big projects like Deadpool and Hail Ceaser which was directed by real good directors.

I thought lets give it a try. So I downloaded the trial version and it looked perfect. Since I was already a member of creative cloud I just had to change my membership type from single app to all apps. The best part is it was very much in my budget and in a very reasonable amount it gives all the apps from Creative Cloud. I have edited some four new projects using Premiere Pro, After Effects, Auditions and Encoder which by far has come up great. Great job from Adobe.
